Start fewer projects.
Finish more projects.
Cycle lighter, longer.
Telemark and sail.
Forgive more. Judge less.
Weight down. Energy up.
Seek stillness in motion.
Simplify. Distill. Purge.
Learn to play harmonica.

This is the opening sequence of a still evolving piece called “Harmonica Bucket List” that I envision as a performed monologue. Its playful in a way that relies heavily on live interaction with an audience. Started as a poem, veered into narrative and then limped off the monologue exit ramp. For now. Who knows, it may still morph into something else altogether. Or just rot away into compost. In either case, I’m abandoning it for now.
